	WAAS increases position accuracy.
	15 m (49.2 ft) accuracy without WAAS.
	3 m (9.8 ft) accuracy with WAAS.
	WAAS is Differential GPS (DGPS: see Chapter 15) over a wide area.
	Satellites beam correction information from orbit to receivers on earth.
	WAAS is free in the U.S., parts of Canada and Mexico.
	Your receiver must be WAAS capable.
	Most newer receivers are WAAS capable.
