Several requests have been made to provide more information about the Garmin eTrex receivers. The principles taught in GPS Made Easy apply to all receivers regardless of manufacturer or user interface; however, the information below correlates the specific functions of eTrex receivers to the section in GPS Made Easy that teaches about that function.

Garmin manuals are continually updated, so it is impossible to provide a page-accurate correlation between a page in the Garmin manual and a page in GPS Made Easy. The software in the eTrex receivers is also regularly updated, but the content of the receiver screens is fairly stable, so the material in subsequent screens correlates the major eTrex screens to the pages in GPS Made Easy that explain meaning of the information on the screen.

The page numbers refer to either the 2nd or 3rd editions of GPS Made Easy.
