Lawrence Letham received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah in 1984 and a Master of Science Degree from Lehigh University in 1990. Both degrees are in the field of Electrical Engineering. He has worked in the semiconductor industry since 1984 designing integrated circuits for a variety of applications. He has also done some software development.
Lawrence discovered the outdoors as a Boy Scout at the age of 12 and has hiked and camped ever since. Also, as a Boy Scout, he learned how to navigate with map and compass and has been fascinated with maps and the navigation ever since. He currently works with the Boy Scouts of Troop 481.
